Kashmir Civil is a specialist construction contractor, bringing together decades of combined experience to ensure project delivery. Our core project delivery is focused on these three areas: civil works, services installation, and construction on and around airfields.

CIVILS

Everything from trucking and carting to mill and fill. We've got top-notch machinery, operators and drivers to tackle any job.

SERVICES

Strong capacity for working with and around sensitive services. Team are well-versed in protecting old assets and installing new ones.

AIRFIELDS

Combined experience of 60+ years working in and around airfields. Ability to collaborate, plan, adapt and deliver in complex operational environments.

Mohammed Ikrar
Company Director
Mohammed has almost 30 years’ experience in the Civil Construction industry. He has spent 10 years in the Civil construction Industry building infrastructure in Fiji before immigrating to New Zealand in August 2004.

Since 2004 he has worked at Auckland Airport on a large variety of Infrastructure projects, initially with Kaipara then starting his own company, Kashmir Civil NZ Ltd. Kashmir Civil has grown into a well-respected company with a “Can do” attitude.

Gordon Murray
Company Manager
Gordon holds a NZCE and has over 40 years’ experience in the Aviation industry. In that time he has worked at major Airports in New Zealand, Fiji, Dubai and assignments in Nauru, Solomon Islands and Cook Islands.

He also has experience in Electronics, Electrical, Building, Automotive and Marine. He has spent time as a Health and Safety Coordinator and conveys a strong H&S culture.

He joined Kashmir Civil in August 2020 and has since been involved with Plant maintenance, Auckland Airport recabling projects (23RESA, 05R touchdown, Bravo Islands) , Auckland Airport Perimeter Fence replacement.

Doug Gordon
Commercial Manager/
Health and Safety Manager
Doug has over 45 years’ experience in the Aviation industry, primarily based at Auckland Airport. This includes 6 years at Airports in Oman and Sri Lanka, plus numerous deployments to the Pacific Islands.

Responsibilities have included Navaid’s maintenance and repair, Technical Manager, Project management, Health & Safety, Technical training.

His friendly personality, humour, dependability and logical problem-solving skills make him a valuable member of the Kashmir team.
